Pokémon Generations Museum Exhibit App
Project Rationale
Pokémon Generations Museum Exhibit App is a conceptual mobile app designed in Figma to help users navigate and explore a fictional Pokémon museum exhibit focused on the history of the mainline game series. The app includes exhibit overview pages, game selection screens, detailed game information pages, and an interactive Poké Slot reward system. The interface uses a red, black, and white colour palette inspired by the iconic Poké Ball, with the header design also styled to resemble a Poké Ball.
The showcased example within the app focuses on Pokémon Black Version 2 and White Version 2, featuring gameplay media, promotional content, featured Pokémon, unique mechanics, locations, and music from the generation. To improve navigation across the long-form game pages, I designed a quick navigation pull-tab system that allows users to quickly jump between major content sections.
The app also includes a post-exhibit Poké Slot feature where visitors can scan an NFC tag at the exhibit kiosk to unlock a one-time swipeable slot machine for a chance to win a Pokémon plush reward. This project focused on mobile UI/UX design, interactive information systems, multimedia integration, and themed experience design.
